His combination scenes with Dhanush were a real treat to watch. The veteran director proved that he is a class actor too. The surprise package in the movie came from K S Ravikumar. Raadhika Sarathkumar was good in her mother character, and she did the role in a flawless manner. Amy Jackson and Samantha Ruth Prabhu too did their roles well. He enacted the roles in two phases of his life with perfection. Performances: Dhanush’s performance is something unquestionable in nature. Altogether, ‘Thanga Magan’ is such a movie which has an excellent first half and an average second half.
When it comes to second half, Velraj lost his gear at some points, but still he managed to glue the audiences in theater seats.
